The Lovense Lush 3 box contains the Lush unit, a magnetic USB charging cable, a satin storage pouch, and a quick-start instruction card. That’s it. No lubricant, no cleaning spray, no batteries (the battery is built-in and non-removable), and no additional accessories.

What’s Included in the Lush 3 Box
The Lush Unit
The main device arrives pre-assembled. The Lush 3 is a single piece, an insertable egg-shaped vibrator connected to a flexible external tail. There’s nothing to attach, assemble, or configure physically.
The unit ships with a partial charge, typically enough to test that it powers on, but not a full charge. Before first use, Lovense recommends charging the Lush fully (approximately 70–90 minutes) to calibrate the battery correctly.
The insertable body is made from 100% body-safe silicone. The tail is ABS plastic with a flexible silicone-coated section. The charging pins are on the underside of the tail.
Magnetic USB Charging Cable
The proprietary magnetic charging cable has two small contact pins that align with the corresponding pins on the Lush tail. The magnetic connection seats itself automatically when held close, you’ll feel and hear a small snap when it’s aligned correctly.
One end of the cable is USB-A (the standard rectangular connector). This plugs into any standard USB wall adapter or USB port on a computer. The cable is approximately 1 metre long.
Note: This cable is specific to Lovense devices. It is not interchangeable with USB-C, micro-USB, or other charging cables. Replacement cables are available through Lovense directly for approximately $15–$20 if lost or damaged.
Satin Storage Pouch
A drawstring pouch in a neutral dark colour is included for storage. This serves a practical purpose, the silicone body attracts dust and lint, and storing it in the pouch between uses keeps the surface clean.
The pouch is not padded or structured, so it doesn’t protect against compression or sharp objects in a bag. Some users keep the original box for longer-term storage when the device won’t be used for extended periods.
Instruction Card / Quick Start Guide
A small card with basic setup instructions is included. It covers:
- How to turn the device on and off
- How to connect to the Lovense Remote app
- Basic cleaning guidance
- A QR code linking to the Lovense support page
The instruction material is minimal. The Lovense website offers a full setup guide with detailed pairing instructions for both iOS and Android, and a FAQ for common first-use questions.
What Is Not Included
Knowing what’s not in the box avoids surprises on delivery day.
Lubricant
No lubricant is included. For use with the Lush, water-based lubricant is recommended. Silicone-based lubricants can degrade the silicone surface over time. Oil-based lubricants are also incompatible with silicone toys.
Good water-based lubricants compatible with silicone toys include products from brands like Sliquid, System JO, and Überlube’s water-based range. These are available at pharmacies, sexual health shops, or online.
Cleaning Spray or Toy Cleaner
No toy cleaner is included. Lovense recommends cleaning the Lush with mild soap and warm water. The IPX6 waterproof rating means the entire device can be rinsed under running water safely, the magnetic charging port does not need to be covered during rinsing.
Dedicated toy cleaning sprays (available from brands like Überlube, System JO, and others) are useful for quick cleans between charges, but not required.
USB Wall Adapter
The charging cable is USB-A on the plug end, but no wall adapter is included in the box. You’ll need a standard USB wall adapter (the kind that comes with most phones and USB devices) or simply plug the cable into a USB port on a laptop or computer.
Any USB-A adapter providing at least 1A of output will charge the Lush properly. Very low-output adapters (0.5A or under) may charge slowly or inconsistently.
Warranty Card
There is no separate physical warranty card. The Lush 3 carries a two-year manufacturer warranty, but this is tied to your purchase record. Keep your order confirmation email, Lovense’s customer support requires proof of purchase for warranty claims.
What the Outer Packaging Looks Like

Lovense ships all orders in plain brown cardboard boxes with no product names, brand markings, or descriptions visible on the outside. The return address on the label is listed as a generic logistics address rather than “Lovense”, the company has maintained this policy for years and it’s consistently noted in buyer reviews.
The inner packaging, the product box itself, does feature Lovense branding and product imagery. If anyone opens the outer shipping box, they will see the branded product box inside. The outer shipping container itself, however, gives no indication of the contents.
For delivery to shared addresses or workplaces, the outer packaging provides reasonable discretion. The product is listed on bank and card statements as “Lovense” or the registered business name, not as a specific product type, worth checking with your card provider if statement discretion matters.
Differences Between Lush 2 and Lush 3 Packaging
The Lush 2, still sold in some markets at approximately $99, comes with the same basic package contents. The differences between the two models are internal:
- Lush 3 has stronger Bluetooth antenna (improved range and stability)
- Lush 3 has a stronger motor (higher intensity ceiling)
- Lush 3 charges slightly faster than the Lush 2
The charging cable is compatible across both versions. If you already own a Lush 2 and upgrade to a Lush 3, the same cable works for both.
What to Do Before First Use
A brief checklist once the box arrives:
- Charge fully before first use (70–90 minutes, confirming steady indicator light)
- Download Lovense Remote from the App Store or Google Play, free
- Wash the Lush with mild soap and warm water before first use, even though it’s new
- Pair via the app, instructions in the quick start card or at lovense.com
